Kurzweil Pianos And Keyboards

Kurzweil Music Systems was founded in 1982 by Ray Kurzweil and Stevie Wonder to create digital instruments with realistic acoustic sounds, inspired by earlier reading machines developed for the blind. The company released the pioneering K250 in 1983/1984, which accurately emulated grand pianos and orchestras. Key advancements included the VAST synthesis engine in the K2000 (1991) and the popular PC3 series.
